How to Choose a LiVAR PET Can Size: 100 ml to 500 ml Guide
Compare the current LiVAR PET CAN range from 100 ml to 500 ml by capacity, weight and carton quantity, then select the compatible #202 closure and sealing machine.
Choosing a PET CAN should start with the required usable format and presentation, not only the largest stated capacity. The current LiVAR UAE range contains nine PET CAN models from 100 ml to 500 ml, all within the 55 mm / #202 system.

Why can two 500 ml cans have different carton quantities?
Capacity does not fully define a container. Shape, profile and packing geometry can change the number of bottles that fit in a carton. The LiVAR Mango, Milk and Urban products are all listed at 500 ml but have different carton quantities. For freight planning, use the carton data of the exact SKU rather than a generic 500 ml assumption.
Should I choose the smallest container that fits the product?
Not automatically. A practical selection also considers product presentation, opening size, filling process, label or print area, handling, carton efficiency and the desired amount of headspace. LiVAR does not publish one universal fill rule for every application, so the intended product should be tested with the chosen container.
Does changing PET CAN size require a different lid system?
Within the current LiVAR PET CAN family, the products listed above use the 55 mm / #202 neck and are compatible with the corresponding EPE or SOT closure options. The exact lid should still be selected for the intended application.
